The CHPA Educational Foundation is the nonprofit foundation of the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA), and is dedicated to providing education on the appropriate and safe use of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and nutritional supplements.

Supported by CHPA members, the leading makers of OTC medicines, the CHPA Educational Foundation’s goal is improved public health through safe and effective OTC use. Established in 2006, the foundation has developed a series of innovative, user-friendly education programs to help build a better understanding of responsible medicine use among consumers of all ages. The CHPA Educational Foundation provides this educational service online through OTCsafety.org, as well as through media relations, partnerships, and grassroots efforts.
